What is Latisse?

LATISSE ­® Solution is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.

How does it work?

LATISSE ­® Solution is believed to prolong the anagen phase (active growth phase). The exact way it works is unknown.

How soon will I see results?

The onset of effect with LATISSE ­® Solution solution is gradual. In the clinical trial the majority of Latisse users saw significant improvement by 2 months.

What are the possible side effects with Latisse?

The most common side effects after using LATISSE ­® Solution are eye itching or eye redness. These were reported by about 4% of patients in the clinical trials. LATISSE ­® Solution solution may cause other less common side effects which typically occur on the skin close to where LATISSE ­® Solution is applied or in the eyes or redness of the eyelids.
